Queensborough Men's Outdoor Track and Field Completes Triple Crown with First-Place Finish at 2024 CUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships

New York, New York - The Queensborough Community College Tigers men's outdoor track and field team completed the triple crown, capturing the 2024 CUNYAC Men's Community College Outdoor Track & Field Title on Saturday at Icahn Stadium. The Tigers picked up their third CUNYAC Championship in the 2023-24 Athletic Season after capturing the Conference cross-country and indoor track and field titles during the fall and winter seasons.

Queensborough Community College competed against top-tier CUNYAC four-year colleges alongside fellow two-year conference programs BMCC and Kingsborough Community College.

Renaediaz Miller and David Adekoya were dominant on the day, capturing two gold medals each. Miller secured the top spot and time at the meet in the steeplechase with a time of 11:46 and won the 1,500m with a time of 4:31.64. Miller also got the silver medal in the 5,000 meter run. 

Adekoya picked up two gold medals on the day, finishing first in the 110mH (15.63) and first in the 400mH (57.45), while Bryan Godette was the top overall performer in the high jump, recording a leap of 1.88m.
