Region 15 Announces NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball All-Region Team
Region 15 has released its All-Region team for NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball.
The Region 15 Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Year is sophomore Jabari Phillip of nationally ranked No. 19 Orange County Community College. He is averaging 20.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. He has scored at least 20 points 14 times this season and at least 30 points four times. He has propelled the Colts to the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Region 15 Tournament.
The Region 15 Division II Men's Basketball Coach of the Year is Tom Rickard from Orange County. He led the Colts to a No. 19 national ranking in the NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Poll, a 24-4 overall record (8-0 Region 15), and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Region 15 Tournament.
