
Sandberg Throws Perfect Inning as Starting Pitcher in Frontier League All-Star Game

Quebec City, Quebec - Queensborough Community College 2018 NJCAA All-American Third Team selection added another accolade to his career, throwing a perfect inning against the West Division All-Stars, recording three outs on only eleven pitches (nine for strikes) while striking out one batter in the process as the starter for the 2024 Frontier League All-Star game. He recorded a no-decision in the 2-1 victory for the West Division All-Stars.
Sandberg was selected as a 2024 Frontier League All-Star a couple of weeks ago and named the starting pitcher for the East Division All-Stars in the 2024 Frontier League All-Star Game. Sandberg pitches for the Québec Capitales with a record of 3-1, an ERA of 2.15, and an outstanding WHIP of 0.87. He has also recorded 54 strikeouts this season in 50.1 innings pitched.
Sandberg was a 2018 NJCAA Third Team All-American for Queensborough before transferring to play his final three seasons of eligibility at Florida Atlantic University and Wilmington University.
