Queensborough’s James Cummins Captures CUNYAC Pitcher Of The Week Honors After Tossing Program’s First No-Hitter Since 2018

Bayside, New York - After tossing the Queensborough Community College Baseball program's first no-hitter in six seasons, Tigers sophomore pitcher James Cummins captured CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week Accolades.

Cummins dazzled the Bronco's bats, keeping them off balance and completing the no-hitter on only 68 pitches for the first time since Ryan Sandberg accomplished that feat on April 28, 2018, at Suffolk Community College with seven strikeouts and one unearned run while walking one batter.
