Region 15 Announces Men's Volleyball All-Region Team

Region 15 has released the 2025 All-Region team for men's volleyball. 

The Region 15 Men's Volleyball Player of the Year is Suhaib Amar of top-seeded Nassau Community College. Amar led the Lions to the Region 15 Regular Season Championship (8-0 Region 15, 19-2 Overall) by slamming 4.08 kills and producing 1.86 digs per set. He also compiled 43 service aces and 24 blocks this season.

The Region's Co-Setters of the Year also come from Nassau, Dom Cieleski and Hunter Dunn. Cieleski has helped with 263 assists (6.12 per set) this year, while Dunn has 240 helpers (6.32 per set).

The Region 15 Defensive Player of the Year is Roy Cepeda from the defending Regional Champion Monroe University – New Rochelle. Cepeda has produced 177 digs in 65 sets played this year (2.72. per set). His strong defensive effort has propelled the Mustangs to the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Region 15 Postseason plus the No. 3 seed in the upcoming National Invitational which will take place April 4-6 on the campus of Finger Lakes Community College.

Thanks to his strong leadership, Nick O'Malley from Nassau has been selected as the Region 15 Coach of the Year. Because of his tutorage, Nassau is the top seed in the Region 15 Postseason and earned the No. 2 seed in the National Invitational.
